Family know-how

Located on the Route de Rambaud, local bakery Lainez Bakery has been a family business for 42 years. Founded in 1980 by Mr. Gérard Lainez, his son Wudy Lainez has taken up the torch.

Recently elected runner-up in the "Authentic Star" category for its traditional Lambi fricassee and also for an appetizer, both of which were much appreciated.
It's not unusual to see people lining up outside to sample the dishes and products prepared by the team: bread, viennoiserie, quiche, chicken pastry or cod-filled croissant for sweet and savory lovers, and a rack of lamb that is a hit with customers. Refreshments match the meal menu, with ginger-flavored orange juice, tropical smoothies with papaya, mango, pineapple or soursop, and a wide selection of teas and coffees. The range has been extended with a new menu featuring traditional dishes, to eat in or take away.
